Global Infrastructure

We do not own data centers. Instead we partner with several outstanding local providers of data centers and infrastructure all across the world. This allows us to always be able to choose the best providers for our resellers, and our resellers are free to choose where they want to store their data. This is of great importance especially when it comes to compliance with local legislators et cetera.

The data centers consist of market-leading infrastructure regarding capacity, redundancy and security. Depending on the service, the data is backed up or replicated daily to at least one other geographical location.

Our global infrastructure also enable the possibilities with Web Scale. Web scale is crucial regarding cost and management effectiveness since it allows users to expand or increase the use of resources depending on their present need.

All this means that we can guarantee both technical and business redundancy as well as low latency no matter where your customers are located.

Softlayer is one of the most advanced data center providers in the U.S offering scalable and top of the line IT-infrastructure. Ilait uses two of Softlayer's data centers in the U.S; Softlayer D.C and Softlayer Dallas.

SoftLayer Washington D.C and Dallas data centers are located in a private N+1 facility. The facilities includes three redundant TXU electrical grids, delivering diverse power to each quadrant of the building, three, on-site, 600-ton cooling towers, fully meeting N+1 cooling requirements.
