Datasheet Virtual Server
The Virtual Servers (VPS) allows for complete business scalability and high capacity at a minimum cost. Your customers never have to worry about growth limits. The service is designed to grow as their business grow, and they decide the pace that it best suited for them.
The Virtual Server embraces all the benefits of cloud computing where customers share resources in order to cut costs without compromising functionality or quality.
Benefits of KVM
Our VPS environment is built upon Linux KVM (Kernel-based Virtual Machine) with QEMU for processor emulation and KVM as hypervisor, where the virtualization layer is directly installed on a clean x64/x86-based system. Since it has direct access to the hardware resources rather than going through an operating system, the hypervisor is efficient and delivers great scalability, robustness and performance.
KVM is the obvious choice for us to use on our virtual machines because it combines the better of two worlds. KVM was originally developed for Windows, but is now run by Red Hat and completely based on open source which provides unlimited developing opportunities.
One of the best features with KVM is that it works with all types of OS and is delivered with paravirtualized drivers for accelerated access to network interface card and storage. Paravirtualization refers to communication between the guest OS and the hypervisor to improve performance and efficiency.
